For normal health problems, Malaria included, the children’s illnesses are treated at the local clinic with any expenses paid ALMs.

For the children with HIV, extra high protein meals together with arranging and ensuring the children all received their Medication.

So, Joyce and her team support the school families with counselling, education, training and at times the necessities of life.

Close contact with these families encourages and empowers them as their children develop.

During Covid, food parcels were made up and distributed to the school families in need.

Neglect and abuse are common.

The head teacher, Rocky has been trained as a counsellor and Child Protection Officer.

Joyce herself is a trained counsellor and has a great deal of experience and wisdom.

Because of very limited government resources, at times children are cared for at the school but this is far from ideal.
