What We Do
At a Future 4 Kids we focus on 5 key areas, to maximise our impact.
-
Feeding Progran
Every school day, each child is fed.
For many of our children these lunchtime meals are the only meal they get the whole week.
So during school holidays, many children return daily to be fed.
-
Education
All public education in Zambia requires payments, an impossible hurdle for families that can barely afford food.
The students receive a high quality education plus learning life skills such as farming, tailoring and soon, mechanical skills.
-
Healthcare
The school covers all the medical expenses of the students for Illnesses, trauma, burns and cancer*.
An extra daily High Protein meal, appropriate medication and supervision of its administration are also provided as needed.

Clean water and Sanitation
Infections due to water borne diseases is uncommon amongst our children.
Firstly, because of the installation of boreholes and water tanks provides clean water for consumption.
Secondly, because the school has built hygenic toilet facilities.
-
Employment
A regular job with a salary is rare amongst our school families. And during the Covid Outbreaks, the bread winners of many families were dismised.
The school trains and employs parents, carers and other local people preferentially in running small businesses, concrete brick making and farming.
Farming, concrete brick making and construction provide further jobs.
